A Revolution in Dental Implants: An Innovative Solution Without Bone Grafting

Until recently, dental implants for adults over 60 almost always required a long and complex bone-grafting procedure. Today, the picture is completely different. Thanks to cutting-edge AI technology, it is now possible to perform implants quickly — from a single implant to full-arch restoration — without any need for bone grafting.

Recent technological advancements make it possible to create a virtual 3D simulation of the patient — an accurate model not only of the external features but also of the bone structure. An advanced AI system analyzes the patient’s images and CT scans, scans the model, and identifies the exact areas in the jaw where sufficient bone still exists. The software also perfectly customizes the size and number of implants to the unique anatomical structure of each patient.
“In the next step, the computer produces a highly precise guide using a unique 3D printer, marking the ideal future locations of the implants,” explains Dr. Bechor. “Using this guide, I can place the implants in one short, focused procedure, at the most optimal points in the jaw — all without any need for bone grafting.”

After about six weeks, the patient returns for digital measurements. The temporary bridge is removed, and unique sensors capture the precise position of each implant — a process that takes only about half an hour and requires no anesthesia. The images are sent back to the computer for designing the permanent teeth.
A week later, the patient receives temporary teeth to replace the plastic bridge. If they feel comfortable, another week and a half later they receive their permanent zirconia teeth with a titanium base.
Because bone grafting is no longer required, the entire process — from start to finish — takes only two and a half to three months, allowing the patient to return to normal life with new teeth that, with proper care, will last a lifetime.
